HIGH SCHOOL

Mr. Justin Taylor « Teacher Connection / Documents / Calendar

Welcome to The Villages Charter High School.

About Coach Taylor:

This is my sixth year at The Villages Charter School and my thirteenth year teaching. I will be teaching 9th grade HOPE this year. After serving in the Army for four years I received my Bachelor's degree from Campbell University in Buies Creek, North Carolina. I have coached football, weightlifting, and track in the past and am currently coaching on the varsity football team and am the head girls weightlifting coach. I am very excited to be part of the Villages family and look forward to a great school year.

Hope Classes

HOPE is a combination of Health and Physical Education. Two days a week we will be in a classroom setting and focusing on how to live a lifestyle that promotes healthy living. The other three days students will dress out and participate in physical activities that improves our physical, mental, and social health. Students will need to purchase clothes from Custom Apparell in the Wedgewood shopping plaza. This is the only approved PE uniform. We encourage students to bring a sling bag to carry their clothes in as we only assign lockers to students who specifically request them. Students must wear athletic shoes that do not include crocs, sandals, or "Dudes." For the classroom setting students will need their chromebooks everyday.

Please feel free to email me with any questions or concerns you ever have.  It's a great day to be a Buffalo!

Thank You,

Coach Taylor
